Cisco 3005 Radius/ACS

Cisco 3005 Can authenticate and pass traffic with internal groups no problem.

Setup Radius and ACS.  Under the global Server authentication can see the Radius server and test fine.

When you go into the groups and setup the Authentication, it does not find the Radius server.   it comes back with a unknown error.

Check that the raduis key is correct and you are connecting via ip address not host name.

Authentication Error: No active server found  Is the error i receive when i try and "test" on the groups of the concentrator.

I saw a post earlier on here that dealt with internal vs external authentication.

I have verified and reverified that the radius keys are correct and that IP is correct

I once heard my friend mention about this problem. I advised him to check wether his Radius Server configurations were correct. After checking he told that the conf are correct. And I advised him to remove the configuration and reconfigure the Radius server. He called me back and gave me a treat.

Hope to get a treat from you too.. *Smiles*
