When I use java editor for java files, when I right click on the editor, the java editor in eclipse will show me options like"open type declaration", "open call hierarchy", "reference - in workspace" . These options are very useful to me. But for the jsp files, the jsp editor coming with WTP doesn't have similar options as Java Editor. I tried to associate jsp files with java editor, but also doesn't work. Since the Jsp files I am currently looking at contain a lot java code, I really need the options mentioned above. Does anyone know any plugins which can do that?

Thanks CEHJ, but I don't find anything in the WTP link. I have tried WTP, but that didn't work out. The WTP comes with a jsp editor which can't let you show the java class information inside the jsp files. It only highlight syntax. What I want is a jsp editor which can show the java hierarchy, type declaration, call hierarchy of the java classes which resides in the jsp files.

I doubt you'll find one, jsp editors are typically designed to edit jsps and not scriptlets.

perhaps have a look at nitrox but i don't think it'll do what you need

other thing would be to try putting your scriplet code in seperate file and including in your jsp.
Best still avoid putting java code in your jsp :)
