Connection Time Out

     I have two applications one using IdtcpClient and another IdTcpServer component.Two applications are running at different locations.Earlier the client was able to connect to the server running at remote location.But,now it is giving Connection timeout exception.How to resolve it.

Make sure the ports set are correct

Make sure server is listening

No Firewalls or anything like that, routers etc

then post the code here

You could try increasing the "IdTCPClient1.ConnectTimeout" value
I think it's in milliseconds so
"IdTCPClient1.ConnectTimeout" := 30000; // 30 seconds
Is there something at the server you can pig, to make sure you can "see" the remote machine?
e.g. ping myserver
Can you try running the client on the same machine as the server (to bypass any firewall, bad routes etc)
If you can, and you can connect ok - this means the server is working ok, and you should look for a network problem
