1) .NET version?

2) Do you mean DataGrid or DataGridView?

3) With 2003, the DataGrid is not really set up to do that.

Hi bob
I m making the back color of a row but it is not permanent like in msflexgrid we do .
once paint event fires to colore other row previous one get lost.
i want to keep them color permanent without recoloring again nd again in paint event.

is it possible?

regards!

The brain dead DataGrid doesn't have a property to set the row's BackColor, so you need to use the Paint event.
