Acrobat Live form data

Have adobe acroboat 6.0 professional would like to know how to use live forms to let people enter information and email them to me with the information remaining in the form. right now after pdf is closed the information is gone upon reopening document

If I remember correctly, email submittal was not an option with Acrobat 6.

In general, you add a submission button to your form, and select "Submit a Form" from the "Actions" tab. As the URL, use a mailto link:


It's however easier (and more straight forward) to submit the form content to a program running on a web server. This way, you could store the data in a database.
