Unresponsive system

This is a new installation of a Win2k3 server (SBS Edition) that consistently gives an error message that TCP/IP services have crashed immediately on boot up.

It will become unresponsive at least once / day, and have to be hard restarted with the magical reset button on the front of the case. VPN Connections connect, and authenticate properly, but get cut off after several minutes sometimes after mere seconds.

What is going on?

Is all of the hardware on the HCL?

Sometimes, hardware not ont he HCL will work intermittently, but usually it just doesn't work.

How about drivers? have you updated any, or do you need to update any? sometimes both can cause problems.

Good Luck,
