I have recently upgraded to a wonderful machine.
Here are the specs:
AMD 64 X2 4200+
DFI Lanparty NF4 UT SLI-DR
2GB Dual Channel DDR (4X1024MB) Corsair XMS
2 X 300gb Seagate SATA 150 HD's
1 X EVGA nVidia 7600gt 256MB GDDR2 Video Card (sli able but only got one right now)
DVD Burner and Flash Media Drive
Windows XP Pro x64
I intsalled Photoshop CS2 and at first I don't recall having any problems, but for a while now it has shown some serious issues. When PS is running the processor spikes anywhere from 40% -90% and the program will be unresponsive anywhere for 5 seconds to 20 or 30 seconds. and at times (less frequently) it will act as I expect it should. All other programs are behaving normal even whil PS is having its problems.
I have posted on the AMD support forums and have not gotten any real good help. I am hoping someone here may have a clue to help me.
I did upgrade the motherboards BIOS last night and checked for the latest versions of drivers. No change.
Thanks for any help!
