Problems with dns when conneting a lan to lan tunnel between a pix515e and a linksys wrv54g

I am able to sucessfully connect a lan to lan vpn tunnel between the two devices with one exception. When a user behind the linksys tries to connect to our exchange server using outlook he/she cannot connect. if the user goes to the dos prompt and tries to ping our exchange server they are given a reply of the outside ip address that is used for our organisation to receive incoming internet email, but  does not allow exchange connections; instead of what i would like to happen is to have them connect to the inside address that is in the range of the vpn tunnel and has services running to accept outlook connections. All other server respond properly using their inside address, for example trying to hit one of the file servers using it's unc path works fine, it seems to just be the exchange server.

Any ideas?

Thanks for your help in advance

You could add an entry in the  Hosts file, located in c:\windows\system32\drivers\etc\Hosts   however it would always try to resolve to that address. Do your users want to resolve to the "outside" public address as well? If so this is not an option. Hosts file entry would look like:
192.168.123.123       my.mailserver.com
