hosts allow config

I keep getting this in my /var/log/messages:

May 21 19:38:32 lin sshd: warning: /etc/hosts.allow, line 5: missing ":" separator

And the file itself contains only this:

Isn't there supposed to be :ALL there somewhere?

    Accepted Solution

    you need to have a colon  :   after the service name



    You should only have the ALL there if you actually want to allow all hosts to connect to the sql service.
