AutoText entries not saving with Normal.DOT on exit.

I have previously asked this question -

But now have another user with the identical problem as the previous user. However, this fix is not working. I can open the Normal.DOT template and create an autotext entry. Save it. Done.

However, if I create a document based on the normal.DOT template, create a new entry, save it. No go. I have tried with the prompt for normal template save checked and unchecked. Either way I do not get prompted.

Anybody know why the template is not getting updated?
