Can I get the play all shortcut in the common tasks pane to play MP3s in another program other than Windows Media Player? And Add to now playing list in the context menu to use VLAN Player?

Can I get the play all shortcut in the common tasks pane to play MP3s in another program other than Windows Media Player? I use Media Monkey and WinAmp and would prefer that they open when I click on it.

I would also like the add to Now Playing list in the right-click context menu to add the videos chosen to VLAN Player instead of Windows Media Player?

I just did that with VLC Player and it only plays the last song in the directory instead of adding all of them to the current now playing list.
What I describes makes VLC Player (if that's what you chose) the default player for mp3 files.  If you are trying to have VLC Player scan/search all your folders for mp3 files and add them to its playlists, then look for options in the software to do that.
Here is the documentation which shows how to search:

No, I want to simply click on that green arrow in the common tasks pane of Windows Explorer that says Play All and have it play all the songs in VLC Player, but it seems to play one, for a nanosecond, then the 2nd 3rd.... till the last one, which is the only one it plays in it's entirety, so I don't know exactly what that green arrow is doing, what I need it to do is add the songs to the current playing list.

I have a short cut in Send To of the context menu that does this, but I like the green arrow shortcut, and would like to get it working like it does in Windows Media Player.
I'm sorry, I have never used VLC Player.  I have used the Windows Media Player and Real Player.  Both of them will scann all your hard drives and automatically add all music and video files to their library.
Hey, not abandoned, but thanks, somewhat helpful, but I guess, things aren't always possible.
thanks.
