access names/numbers in mobile phone

Hi All,

Is there anyway to access all of the names/numbers in a nokia phone by j2me?

Not using plain J2ME as far as I know.

You might need to use device-specific API (if Nokia provides any) for doing this.

Dont know if this is any use. Nokia have a toolkit. Ive not used it. Im learning Java at the moment. I know C++ so Java is proving somewhat easier to learn than C++ ever was.

Some limited access to the phonebook can be achieved by creating a MIDP 2.0 TextField or TextBox with the PHONENUMBER constraint.
