How to set limits on a Public drive in active directory

I have a public drive that many user use. I want to create limits so no one can go over 2 GIG's and also set limits on the home folder. Is there a way to be notifyed when the public drive is getting almost full.

What is the server OS?  if its Win2k3 or SBS2k3 you can set quotas on the folders and shares.

2000 for now but it will change to 2003 really soon
