Hi,

I have Visual Studio 6.0  installed, with Windows XP SP2. Whenever I make a new MFC exe project in VC++, I am not able to view the class details on the left side in the class view tab. Same installation works fine if I try installing in another PC with Windows XP SP1. Have anyone else felt this problem? Is there a solution? Please let me know.

Hi vijay_rangaraj,
I met this error many times, I can solve it by two ways:
1. Sometimes, .ncb and .opt file can raise many errors for your project if it's out of date or our project moves from this machine to other machine. These files save project setting. In this case, you should delete these two files and setup again your project setting (if there are some special settings). After finishing deleting, rebuild and run.
2. If you can't solve your problem with the first solution, you can try this. This is a recommend and it may be the bad solution :). Reinstall VC6. At the fist time I install VC into my machine, I met this trouble, but after installing, everything is in order. I also run VC6 on WindowsXP sp2. Try it!
Regards.
