BrightStor ARCserve Backup r11.5 Error 3721 - Unable to write to the media as the threshold specified on the system device is hit.

1. ARCServe version r11.5 build 3884
2. Using Staging
3. Staging Disk - Free Space 596GB
4. Failed Backup during the Staging phase - never tried to hit the Rev Autoloader
5. Error Message - Unable to write to the media as the threshold specified on the system device is hit. (MEDIA=%s [S/N: %s], EC=%s) Module:
Task Reason: For staging jobs, while writing to disk, the job hit the disk threshold condition and hence the job can not continue further. Action: To allow the staging jobs to continue properly, make sure there is sufficient disk space available.
Note SPACE Free is 596GB and 7GB free on database/log drive.
Note ARCServe has never heard of this error message

QUESTION: Does anyone know how to change the threshold limit for staging?

Working from memory (and I will confirm this later)
select the job from the Job Status window, right click Modify
click on the destination tab
click or right click on staging

On the Staging Tab
1. Enable Staging check box
2. Group Name
3. Max number of streams
4. Policy - Purging options for Full, Diff/Inc, and Miscellaneous - No choices for setting disk threshold
5. Staging Goups - Supposedly the Threshold is in the File System Device Group configuration dialog, BUT on this system it isn't here!

Well I was close but still off the mark, here it is.
from that backup window click on Desitination and then right click on the Group select Configure File System Device Group. There you will find the details such as threshold, and all the rest.
