    Assisted Solution

you need to recatalog the tape.. i don't currently have veritas installed, but
its there.. you may need to load the tape as new media (in the software)
or it may be called "Inventory (the new tape)" then cataloge it.

    Accepted Solution

Put the tape in the tape drive.  Now go to the top menu, and find the choice --

Catalog tape.  Choose that one, and give it time, and it will add that tape to your catalog.

You might have to choose "refresh tape catalog" or something like that to get it to work.
