IMHO they are just trying to sell you a new one. Their suggestion is a non-sense!! &nbsp;Ask them why... they won't have any answer!!!

&nbsp;- To me Security, network handling (speed of processing packets etc) would be of more importance.<br />
&nbsp;- Right now we use access list on the same 2600 router. &nbsp;<br />
I am totally blank on the 800 series and the major differences between them.<br />
