Difference between Cisco 2600 series router and 800 series router
Hi all
Right now we have 2600 series router without any trouble, one of our ISP is suggesting 800 series, I wonder if its a step down router or advanced than 2600 series?
Help plz

IMHO they are just trying to sell you a new one. Their suggestion is a non-sense!! Ask them why... they won't have any answer!!!

Thanks Danny
Agreed:
- Which one has more processing power and the ability to handle the network?
- I would be happy if they would have offered the same brand i.e 2600
- To me Security, network handling (speed of processing packets etc) would be of more importance.
- Right now we use access list on the same 2600 router.
I am totally blank on the 800 series and the major differences between them.
Thanks
