Emailing in VB.Net 2.0 The remote name could not be resolved:

I am getting an error every so often when a form is submitted for email:

The remote name could not be resolved: 'smtpout.secureserver.net'

This only happens once and a while.

I am using a username and password to connect to the smtp server.

You could try changing 'smtpout.secureserver.net' by it's IP-Address. SMTP servers are usually configured with static IP-Addresses, so it shouldn't change often...
Hello
Confirm that smpt server is valid, otherwise re-configure your smtp and pop3 configuration.

the smtp server is valid.  Like I said it works every so often.

Would this have anything to do with getting a w3wp.exe Application Error?
This is also possible, Can you send mail from windows application?
