I'm looking to upgrade the current server at my local animal shelter. I've a new server to go in and I would also like to migrate to 2k3 from 2k. Was wondering what the best way to proceed is? Can I build the new box as 2k3 and then migrate the data over? Or do I need to put it in as 2k, copy everything over and then upgrade?<br />

replacing/upgrading server from 2000 to 2003

Windows Server 2003 was based on Windows XP and was released in four editions: Web, Standard, Enterprise and Datacenter.
