BenQ dvd problem

Hi,
I have WinXP home, an Asus CD/DVD-read station, a LG CD-burn station and an external BenQ EW621i DVD-RW-station. For the last station I installed RecordNow-v7.21-software and made an exact copy of a DVD (Asus to BenQ). Then I installed Nero 5.5 + update Nero 551056 for a CD-copy (LG) and made again a succesfull copy of some mixed data.
Now I returned to the RecordNow-icon to make another 1-1 copy of another DVD. Pressing the icon "exact copy" gives a strange result: NO RECORDER ...
In the WinExplorer everything looks okay, and also the other Sonic-software works fine, like the IntervideoDVD to play a DVD.
This problem I had before, and I had to uninstall both the DVD-hardware and the Nero+Sonic-software. After a registry-cleanup I did the above-mentioned actions. But now I have the same problem again. For a real expert this could not be a serious problem ...? Please help !!

Run msconfig and prevent uneccessary startup and services options. Things like InCD etc aren't necessary or shouldn't even be installed.

Not only,
i think there is the problem with the emulated scsi driver which the Nero makes.
i have a Nero installation and freeware burning programe which i find quite nice :'Deepburner',the problem is the same one on Deepburner as yours-it cannot find my cd-RW-writer,but all other application can;
i'm quite sure if i unistall the Nero and reinstall the Deepburner that all should pretty good work...
check out this link:
http://support.sonic.com/desktop/downloads.asp?type=desktop&product=recordnow
and download the Sonic Record Engine (PXEngine) update:
http://support.sonic.com/dwnld/engine.asp?
perhaps it should solve the problem...

Note: there is also a security patch for your record now:
http://patches.sonic.com/UM/PatchGdiPlus.EXE

but i think also your nero installation is really obsolete...

Good luck!
