Operation Progress

Hi,

I have seen JSP/struts pages having 'operation in progress' kind of progress status indicators which seems to be on a different JSP page and when the operation is completed, it redirects to another page. I m not refering to doing a pop up before submit and closing the popup on unload of the page.

Question:
1) How is that done? Any links/url that shows how?
2) Is that exact thing possible in PHP as well? Any links/url that shows how?

I would bet this progress bar is implemeted using JavaScript. Check the pages and see if I'm right. If yes you can just use the same JavaScript in PHP also.

Hi,

You can use Ajax implementation without refreshing your webpage. try for "Ajax" samples....
