IBM X31 & Bluetooth ?

I have an IBM which has bluetooth. I recently purchased the Plantronics 320 bluetooth headset, and it works with my motorola phone. Now I tried to use it with the X31. I went to the bluetoot icon, and pressed Add, and put the headset in pairing mode but the computer does not find it. I called plantronics and they said that this has to work unless the computer's bluetooth does not support headset profile. I called IBM and they say (at least the person I spoke to there) that it does support headset profile. My question is does anyone out there know if the X31's bluetooth does in fact support headset profile?

A lot of laptops have a separate switch to turn off and on wireless (including bluetooth) devices. First look for such a switch and turn it on if it exists. Other PC's use a key combination for that switch, so if there is no physical switch check your manual or look at the keyboard for function key combinations that would turn on such a device.
