Regarding accessing oracle

Hi,
I want to develop a website using JSP. I want to access Oracle from my JSP pages. Want to know what are the ways to do it and  which one will be the best.  Also i want know which are freeware in it.

Use JSTL. It's by far the easiest way if you are not an expert. See here for an oracle specific example http://www.oracle.com/technology/sample_code/tech/java/codesnippet/jsps/jstlsql.html

i am planning to use tomcat only. Can i use jstl in that one.  Is it used only for oracle db.

jstl has no relation with DBs, oracle , etc.
it is an easy way of writing JSPs.

Yes, very easily.

No, the sql library is only one of the 5 libraries of JSTL (core, xml, format, sql and function)
