Our application bundles MS SQL Server 2000 merge modules in the installation. &nbsp;We're installing the desktop edition of SQL Server (MSDE) onto the local workstation. &nbsp;When we install on a French version of Windows XP, we get the following error:<br />

Error: 1609. An error occurred while applying security settings. &nbsp;Users is not a valid user or group. &nbsp;This could be a problem with the package, or a problem connecting to a domain controller on the network.<br />

I'm using MSI to install the application. &nbsp;I'm looking for a transparent installation, one that doesn't require the non-English user to create a user or group called &quot;Users&quot;.
