I am trying ot create a simple sign up list on the web.  The dates are already filled out, I just need to have people the other two fields in each row.  I plan to use a simple access db to store the data.  But for some reason I can't get it to update the db.  I tryed to create a seperate page that runs this query
UPDATE Msch SET Provider='%%Provide%%',MenuItem='%%Meal%%' WHERE Date='%%DateSel%%'
and have the entry form send the data to this "update" page.  I get this as a result "Database Results Wizard Error
The operation failed. If this continues, please contact your server administrator. "
Is there a way to debug a asp file?  Is there an easier way to update a table on access database.

Server is Win2000 running Frontpage 2003.  Access 2000 DB file.

lET YOU FORM page action point to a new file that you call update.asp

In the new file (which will now serve as your confirmation page) do the following. Click on Insert - Database - results - choose your connection and source and select the Custom query radio.
Type in the SQL statement
UPDATE Msch
Set
Provider='::Provider::',
MenuItem='::MenuItem::'
WHERE ID = ::ID::

Ok and save - that should do it.

you will notice that I did not use the date as several entries (if not now in furture) will be the same date that will couse the script to fail. In your Access - create an ID column and make it the Prymary key.
