styles wont add to second <td>

for some reason, a second <td> is not letting a border style be applied to it...any suggestions?

umm, it is border-color...??? what line are you referring to?  or are you saying it should precede the border-style?

noooo, your not understanding my plight here, there are 2 td's  one td isnt showing the border.

the right of the first border needs not to show.  The second borders on the second td will show top right and bottom and the first (which actually works)  show top left and bottom

and I am only talking about the TD that has the comments around it.

You're setting both the right side of the first column to NONE and the left side of the second column to NONE.
Is this waht you wanted?

im referring to the line that i have comments around.....

but I actually got the problem solved.  Thanks for trying to help...all that was needed was a &nbsp or content in the <td> for it to display the border for some reason.

Yea, that's an IE quirk, do you test in multiple browsers?  I'm finally getting a mac for such purposes.
