Site sync; daylight / summer time problems

When I go to sync my site from my local disk to the remote server, the times are different so Site_Sync always wants to update all the files on the site.

I am on British Summer Time, which is one hour advanced from the remote server (on GMT).

Is there a way to set up DreamWeaver 8.0.2 to fix this?

Thanks

Hi Donelson,

To the best of my knowledge, this is not a DW issue but rather how your web server is configured.  By default the server time is whatever the time zone where the physical box is located, but you should be able to override that or ask your ISP to set it for you.  Without knowing your situation, that's the best answer I can give.

Thanks. My host says they run GMT. Period.

Why can't I set Dreamweaver to convert my summer-time file dates into GMT ?

What a load of crap Dreamweaver is !  This is a really simple function.

There is no place that I can find in DW to set the time.  Like almost every other Windows app, it uses your system clock to set it's time and date.  I would be angrier at your ISP...this is a really simple thing to implement per virtual host.
