Symantec Livestate Recovery cannot create recovery point

We keep getting the following failure with Symantec Livestate Recovery Advanced Server 6.0 while using a SATA Removable Drive and cannot seem to locate any way to correct this.

Description: Error EC8F17B7: Cannot create recovery points for job: Backup of C:\, D:\. Error EA39070A: The internal structure of the image file is invalid or unsupported.
Details: 0xEA39070A
1 Solution
while backuping drive, the drive should be free from the os access and some program access.
try to close some service which are accessing the drive c: or D:.

The main problem is might due to the swap file or page file which is used by operating system might placed on this drive.

try to change these file location, restart the system and try the backup again.

in windows nt, XP --> go to Mycomputer->right click-> properties->
goto advanced tab->performance option->Virtual memory-> Change->
select c: drive . set initial size to zero and memory size to zero and press set.
do the same thing in d: also.(if it is set).

set the initial size to your ram size * 2 in some drive and maximum size to some extent. or you can any value, it depends.
