asked on
exchange adprerp and domainprep
hey,
maybe a really silly question, but ive just recently run both adprep and domain prep from the exhcnage 2003 cd. both of them just flashed the cursor a few times and then went back to the prompt. Is this all they are supposed to do? i used exdeploy to check that they had corrected and the log files didnt say that they hadnt worked, wht should i look for in the log files?
sorry for the dumb question.
cheers

Hi,
Yes ran them from the command, yes on the schema master, yes to correct permissions. Ive checked the event logs and nothing has been logged. Does this mean it didnt run, and if so, what exactly is it supposed to ie (ie bring up an install screen, etc?)
many thanks
