Help configuring switch port

Sorry for the novice question.  I am new to Cisco switches and need help configuring a port.  I have an existing port on a Cisco Catalyst 3560 with the following:

interface FastEthernet0/27
 description Etime Clock
 switchport access vlan 1
 no ip address
 no mdix auto
 spanning-tree portfast

I need to duplicate this same config on another 3560 switch port.  Will someone please list the commands to duplicate this once I login to the other switch?

hi there

To change the second switch port - enter the following commands from the command prompt:

#
configure terminal
interface [port number on second switch]
 description[description of port]
 switchport access vlan 1
 no ip address
 no mdix auto
 spanning-tree portfast
 no shutdown

The no shutdown command enables the port if it is shutdown.
If you type sh run - and look for the switchport you are configuring - it may have extra features enabled that you do not want - e.g. speed 100 etc

To remove unwanted entries:

interface [port number on second switch]
 no speed 100

Hope this helps
