Hi Experts,

I want to know the efficient way of storing scanned text documents. Is it advisable to store them in the database(I am using SQL server) for the number of documents to be stored will be growing gradually.

Or store it at File level. But will that make retrieving those files easy.(I want to retrieve files for a particular person on a particular day and for a particular group)

I would store them on a server and refrence their locations and names in the SQL db.
retrieving the files can be done using an SQL statement or a stored procedure, the later is faster of course
