Upload of Large Files Causes "The page cannot be displayed"

I am working on a thing to upload multiple files.
Common thing. I have several example solutions.

If I try to PostBack after having selected a file
that is > 4MB I get "The page cannot be displayed"
error page.

It seems to do this for every solution I have found.
If there is an exception, I have no idea where to
trap it.

Any ideas about dealing with this?

    4 MB is the max default upload for, you can change that in the web.config file. this MS link should explain  how to;en-us;295626
