Spanning Tree "Structure"

What is a "spanning tree structure?"  I know about the STP, need to understand the structure aspect of it.

Hi chima,

from what i understand with Spanning tree, it is when there are multiple routes available from point to point.

as you know the STP provides a way to make sure that loops dont occur within these routes
