Terminal Server not responding

Background:

- HP Proliant ML330 G3 server
- PerfLib error messages every 4-6 seconds in the application log from time to time they stop altogether, then start again maybe some days later
- I stopped and disabled all of the HP Insight services
- now Terminal Server does not respond
- and Exchange server is behaving oddly - one user attempting to send an email got a window requesting his password

OK - I think I found it ..

.. reason for Terminal Server not working - there was an Event log error 50 TermDD - and a suggestion at http://support.microsoft.com/?kbid=323497 worked.

The email issue was due to a workstation being left on during server restart.

I think the HP Insight services are optional and weren't related to this issue.
