KDE autostart programs?
Hi
Im running KDE 3.5.2 on Kubuntu, and i was wondering where KDE gets information 'bout which programs should start automaticaly every time i login? Im aware of the /home/(X)/.kde/Autostart but this folder is empty?
My Kmix is starting up twice (one in the tray and one on the desktop) every time i boot with a open windows on my desktop, which i have to close everytime i bootup my maschine. How do i make it stop starting up?

Or you can use Konqueror to startup scripts/program within you user profile. Very easy and until now I got no problems with it. Just run konqueror ->Go-> Autostart
Copy there your scripts you would like to run when KDE starts and that is all :-))
good luck

Control Center, KDE Components, Session Manager -> On Ligin -> Start with empty session. <--- tried that, only to find out that Kopete and Skype didnt startup as ussual, but it didnt make Kmix stop starting up.
There must be a "registry" containing infos about which program should start up on each logon. As said before /.kde/Autostart is empty, and yet KLaptop, Klipper, 2 x Kmix, Kopete, and Skype loads along with KDE every time i boot.
