how to tell a scrolling text file to scroll from the beginning

hi
i have a gallery that loads each time the user press on a thumbnail external pic and text file.
now when the user scroll the text down on one pic and then press on another thumbnail the pic loads and so is the text but the text starts where the previous text stoped, that is from the end, so the user must scroll up to read the full text.

what to do?

best regards

Well...  I don't know why it did not work, but I think my suggestion should work...  You might want to check on the path to the textField one more time...

hi

this is the code i wrote. the scrolling works. i have a dynamic text box which loads each time the user press on a thumnail the right text and graphics. all this works, but if i read the text for a certain pic and then press on another thumnail, the text of the new pic is in the position the text was for the last pic (in the end), so the user should scroll up to see the new pic text.

and now the scrolling code:
this.down.onPress= function  () {
      scrollDirection= "down";
      scrollText();
}
this.up.onPress= function  () {
      scrollDirection= "up";
      scrollText();
}
this.down.onRelease= function  () {
      delete onEnterFrame;
}
this.up.onRelease= function  () {
      delete onEnterFrame;
}
function scrollText () {
      this.onEnterFrame= function  () {
            if (scrollDirection== "up") {
                  this.myText_txt.scroll -= 1;
} else if (scrollDirection== "down") {
      this.myText_txt.scroll += 1;
}

}

}

Put this line into the button that loads another thumbnail and see if it works...

// You will need to change the path to the myText_txt if it is different...
this.myText_txt.scroll = 1;
