How to disable Outlook folder autoexpand?

I receive a bunch of newsletters in my Outlook 2003, which is not connected to any Exchange server.
For newsletters I have a bunch of rules to toss incomming e-mails into corresponding folders.
All newsletter folders are organized as subfolders of "Newsletters" folder.
When new e-mail is moved to the corresponding subfolder, Newsletters folder expands automatically.
Is there a way to disable this auto-expand?

    Greetings, Sysadm01 !

There is nothing within Outlook to change the auto folder expand feature.  There may be an addin, third party program or a script to do so, but I am not aware any specific one.

    Best wishes!
