Thunderbird - Subscribing to Accounts

I have some users who connect to their IMAP server with Thunderbird. If I convert email to the IMAP server then they won't see the new folders/messages unless they subscribe to the new message folders. Is there anyway to make Thunderbird automatically subscribe to new folders? This is really a pain to have to do this manually.

    Greetings, jhieb !

There is nothing native to Thunderbird that will allow auto subscribing of folders.  When you convert emails to IMAP, can you put the emails in an existing folder, like Inbox, or Draft?

    Best wishes!
