I'm running w2k03 with exchange 03. I have installed the rocket raid card 1810A and want to create a raid 5 array. Deal is I can't figure out how to create the array and then get the data on it. I think I could just create the array and then copy or image the data drive onto the array. Wouold this work? Could I use ghost for this? BTW This is a sata array......thanks...chris

I have the same card.  You create the RAID-5 array using the card's BIOS, and then copy the data onto the array.  Ghost 9 or better should support this for imaging.

I thought that might work. How do you like the card?

I wanted to try out RAID-5, but I didn't have a motherboard with PCI-X slots, so I wanted to see what it would do on regular PCI slots.  In this configuration, the 4-drive array transfers data at 40MB/sec, which is not bad.  It works well and didn't cost a lot.
