thrown an exception "Could not find part \\win_xp\c$"

How do I authenticate to \\win_xp server so I could create my remote directory "temp". I do have \\win_xp credentials to authenticate to give me access for remote share server. How can I program it using C#? I'll be running a windows service program to create remote directory.

Check out this impersonation demo from thecodeproject : http://www.codeproject.com/csharp/ZetaImpersonator.asp

You can impersonate a user with the correct credentials, and then running your code as the impersonated user.

Be careful, storing username/password info in a .NET executable as it may be decompiled and read by unscrupulous individuals.
