How do I repair VS.NET 2003?  Mine keeps crashing

Everytime I try to open or create a solution, I get the crash:

An unhandled exception has been caught by the VSW exception filter.

    figured it out.  i had the .NET framework 2.0 instead of 1.1
    the 2.0 was screwing up my VS2003 from working properly
    i uninstalled 2.0 and installed 1.1

    well thanks, but then you solved it yourself :)

    one thing you may like to know is that apps build with framework 1.1 are not running on framework 2.0 so you need to include it in a redistribution
