every thing is fine and i can see the string in the report

the problem is when i need to pass a big string like 300 character meny lines of words
then i all geting an exsption :

error in formula <@Sicom>
"the string that i tryd to send from the WinForm"
The matching for this string in missing

what do i need to do that the long string will be printed in the report ?

I wonder if you might be running into a limittion of Crystal.

CR 8 was limited to 254 characters in a string.  I wonder if the the passing of a string is still limited.

Is there a limit on strings ini VS 2003?

What code are you using?

WHy the double @@?

Why are you passing parameters into the formula?

Unless it changed with .Net formulas are passed in using a different syntax.
