Hi everyone,

I'm just going thru a book to learn ASP.Net however I can't creat a new project by going to ...

File -->New project --> C# --->ASP>net web application

The location is "http://localhost/HelloWeb_CS"

Hitting OK or the browse button freezes visual studio and I have to end it in the task manager.

I have since done something and now the error is "can't find web service"  etc...

Please allow me to express my thanks in advance for your gracious help.

Best regards,

try to register asp .net, from VS command prompt

aspnet_regiis -i

if that's will not work, remove IIS and then reinstall it again and use the command above again
