I would target American clients also, but I don't see how to get past the long distance telephone.

Do I need a netherlands job?

I would get a Vonage-type phone with a US number, so that the clients don't know you are half way across the world. I would also shift my hours, so that you are reasonably acessible.

Do you already have US clients? If you are starting a new business, it should focus on the Netherlands, and you will probably want to just get a job first, so that you can become comfortable with the new environment.

well.. i think you should look for jobs at Amsterdam or something.
i've seen job openings at monsterboard.nl for English speaking people, but don't know if there are some right now
