Change Group Scope with VBScript

We are consolidating 2 forests into one. The source is a complete mess and we want to avoid polluting the target with unnecessary muck.
SIDHistory has been used to grant target users access back to resources in the source. This works on Domain Local Groups only.
Would anyone be able to forward some code that would for a stated OU or stated object list. Convert the Groups from 'Global Groups' to 'Universal Groups' then from 'Universal Groups' to 'Domain Local' Groups.
Sorry people but I have no idea where to start on this one.

Hi barry2071,

i have been playing a lot with AD creation and modifyin via scripts int he last week and have found an extremly useful site

for specifically what you are doing

for everything AD related

its basically all of MS examples from technet put into a nice easy map so that you can scroll through and see exactly what you want, its also basically copy and paste, modifying attributes with your details

let me know if you need help, i learnt this by a stack of trial and error..... i learnt how to script and enitre directory structure, and have no shame in admitting i still know as little as when is started, if your not in it to learn scripting but just want a tool, make use of the above link :)
