Remove Quick Launch bar via registry or Group Policy

Hi everybody,
I need your help. I try to lock at maximum some users of my firm and I want to do that via group policy or logon script. I tried to remove(hide) the quicklaunch toolbar but I wasn't able..
there's a way (and how) to remove the quick launch?

please let me know.

The quick launch stuff is stored here:

C:\Documents and Settings\username\Application Data\Microsoft\Internet Explorer\Quick Launch

If you delete the quicklaunch folder, the toolbar is gone.

I cannot delete the folder you told me... and when I try to remove the single file it tells me that is not possible..
You can remove the quick launch icons by setting the following registry entry to 0:

HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Policies\Explorer\ClassicShell
