Remove Quick Launch bar via registry or Group Policy
Hi everybody,
I need your help. I try to lock at maximum some users of my firm and I want to do that via group policy or logon script. I tried to remove(hide) the quicklaunch toolbar but I wasn't able..
there's a way (and how) to remove the quick launch?
please let me know.

I cannot delete the folder you told me... and when I try to remove the single file it tells me that is not possible..
You can remove the quick launch icons by setting the following registry entry to 0:
HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software \Microsoft \Windows\C urrentVers ion\Polici es\Explore r\ClassicS hell

HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software

C:\Documents and Settings\username\Applicat
If you delete the quicklaunch folder, the toolbar is gone.
