Disable Client Windows Installer Problem

Due to our ERP system we run, "Domain Users" have to have local admin rights.  However, I am attempting to disable the Windows Installer option in my GPO.

All other policies are working just fine.  Howver, I think because the users have local admin rights, this GPO is not working correctly.  Is there a work arround?  I basically only want them to be able to install what is made avaiilable to them in Add/Remove Programs.

Hi chrisryhal,

you are going to need to remove the local admin priviliges, windows installer policy only blocks some installations which use the windows installer, any other installer programs are allowed....
