Blue and White G3 not bootable

I am trying to help a friend out and I was installing another HDD in the machine and did not have all of the little nuances down that the machine needs to have to install a larger HDD.  My bad for not researching better.  However the issue comes here, I went into Startup Disk after I did an image to a larger drive.  I changed the Startup Disk to the larger drive, now it can't find the OS and I don't know how to change it back to boot from the original drive.  Can someone please help me so I can get my friends computer back into working order.

First, carefully read this article on installing a second drive on a B & W G3 and make particular note of the comments re rev. 1 v. rev. G3's and the comments re jumper settings.

You don't say if you are running OS 9 or OS X on the computer.

If you are running OS X, boot while holding down the Option key. This should bring up the startup manager and allow you to select which drive to boot from.
