Owa, Remote Web Workplace don't work externally, well sometimes...
SBS 2003, Owa and remote web workplace work fine internally and from some locations it works externally.
From home I can not get in, just sits there for a very long time then page not found. However, if I connect via vpn connection to another client I can then open my browser and get into the first client's OWA or remote. This works from other clients too but not all. There doesn't seem to be a common thread, my Comcast connection doesn't work but a client with Comcast does, one with Verizon dsl works another doesn't, same with Qwest. The clients that I connect to when it works do not use the same internal ip range.
This is behind a Linksys router, BEFSR41. I'm port forwarding ports 80, 4125 and 443.
Seems like there's something else on the Linksys that's blocking access.

No ISA server.
I agree it's the router but what to check on the configuration?

Can you please post an IPCONFIG /ALL from your server?
Thanks.

That is not a complete IPCONFIG /ALL. The entire output is necessary if you would like me to analyze your problem. While there is nothing in an IPCONFIG that would compromise security, you may want to slightly edit it for privacy purposes. If you choose to do that, please only replace the last two octets of a Public IP Address with ***.*** and the first part of the domain name can be replaced with *******.

domain name has been changed.
Please be sure that you hvae run the Configure Email and Internet Connection Wizard while UPnP has been enabled on your Linksys Router.

I've run it several times, ran again, no change to OWA. I'm not sure how to enable uPNP on my router?

Don't have that option, looks like very old firmware. In looking on Linksys website it indicates firmware upgrade does not add new features so I don't know whether this will add it or not. Guess I'll give it a shot but won't be for a few more days.

All those ports are open. I agree a new router is in order, just thought there was something I was missing and could get it to work. It will be a while before I can try another router, will let you know if that solves it.
Also check the configuration set on you router..This seems to be the issue
Thanks
