Yes this will be extremely difficult if you don't know what you're doing. &nbsp;You might be an expert person at soldering but not knowing how to solder the ac adapter pin will be an entirely different experience. &nbsp;<br />

if you are strapped for money AND the pin doesn't work at all you could try it yourself, but there are no guarentees. &nbsp;The quickest solution would be spending the money on a new motherboard...i assume the warranty is up?
